Northumbria University Newcastle café and restaurant branding
We created an umbrella brand bringing together a range of distinct sub-brands focusing on the individual food and retail offers and environments. Delivering a high street feel with a wide range of choice to enhance the overall student university experience and inspiring customers to try something new by making each restaurant a destination.
We chose a modern landmark to represent Northumbria. When opened, the Millennium Bridge can be seen as a heart shape. The logo is underpinned by the strapline ‘For the love of food’.
The heart shape is used as a subtle device on all sub-brands to connect with the umbrella brand.
