Farmers & Fletchers brand design
We were asked to create a new brand for a stunning new events venue in the City of London. Owned by the Worshipful Company of Farmers and the Worshipful Company of Fletchers, it was important to position the brand in a completely different and more contemporary way to the other old fashioned livery halls with whom they are in competition to attract business from modern City firms and event organisers.
The Farmers & Fletchers brand has the personality of a modern British gem, a leader and innovator – not afraid to do things differently and yet quietly confident. The quirky illustration style gives a nod towards the heritage of the two livery companies while adding to the intrigue of the venue. We also created a logo which subtly combines a wheat ear and the flight of an arrow in simple form. It depicts back-to-back ‘F’s from Farmers and Fletchers and creates a marque as unique as the venue.
